Postdoctoral Scientist Position at University of Arizona in Social Science and Climate, CLIMAS
As part of the NOAA National Climate Assessment funds the University of Arizona based CLIMAS project has been able to create a research associate/post doc position for a social scientist. This person will be funded to work with Mike Crimmins and Dave DuBois on their assessment projects looking at assessing regional climate service needs through Cooperative Extension in AZ and NM. The incumbent will also be spending some time coordinating with a similar new hire at the Desert Research Institute who will be working on one of the California Nevada Applications Program (CNAP, formerly CAP) National Climate Assessment
projects. They will also join a vibrant group of more than 50 faculty and staff at the University interested in the human dimensions of climate change.
