CSIRO and NCCARF-Freshwater Climate Research Scientist
CSIRO is currently looking for candidates to fill a Climate-water Research Scientist position for the next 12 months to undertake activities associated with and in support of the Water Resources and Freshwater Biodiversity Adaptation Research Network.
Specific duties of the position include:
* Conduct a thorough review of impact studies on water resources and biodiversity in Australia
* Provide content for information sheets and online publication of key results from the above mentioned review
* Liaise with key information holders to elucidate potential knowledge gaps in the science required to deliver water resource scenarios.
* Publish synthesis paper in peer-review journal
* Assist in organization and running of Water Master class and National workshop
* Present results to scientific colleagues through international conferences, seminars etc
* Contribute to the effective functioning of the catchment hydrology research team and help deliver upon CSIRO organisational objectives
* Help build CSIRO research reputation for integrated and multi-disciplinary science in the field of catchment hydrology and climate impacts research
